About the role

ACOUP is looking for an experienced and commercially focused Finance Manager with a strong background in employment outsourcing, workforce management, labour supply, BPO, or HR outsourcing companies.

The ideal candidate must have practical experience managing financial operations in a workforce-intensive business, including client billing, accounts receivable, cash flow management, financial reporting, and financial compliance.

This is a hands-on finance leadership role requiring direct involvement in day-to-day financial operations, financial controls, reporting, budgeting, and profitability management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial management, effective client collections, proper fund management, and strong financial controls across multiple client contracts.

Prior finance experience in employment outsourcing, manpower supply, workforce management, BPO, or HR outsourcing is an essential requirement for this position.

What you’ll do

  • Manage daily finance and accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Oversee monthly and annual financial closing, management accounts, financial statements, and accounting controls.
  • Manage client invoicing, billing accuracy, collections, and outstanding receivables across EOR, workforce management, labour supply, and outsourcing contracts.
  • Ensure accurate billing of employment costs, management fees, mobilisation charges, and additional services, coordinating with business development and operations teams to resolve discrepancies.
  • Monitor operating expenses, workforce costs, contract pricing, gross margins, profitability, and financial exposure across clients and projects.
  • Manage cash flow forecasting, banking transactions, payment approvals, fund transfers, and liquidity requirements.
  • Oversee the separation, accounting, and reconciliation of operating funds, client security deposits, and designated liability or restricted funds.
  • Establish financial controls and approval procedures to minimise credit risks, delayed collections, cash flow gaps, and losses arising from workforce mobilisation and contractual obligations.
  • Prepare annual budgets, revenue forecasts, cost projections, monthly management reports, financial dashboards, and performance analysis.
  • Monitor actual financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and business targets.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, IFRS, and applicable financial regulations, coordinating with auditors, tax advisers, banks, and regulatory authorities.
  • Support management with financial planning, commercial evaluations, pricing decisions, profitability improvements, and business expansion.

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
  • Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of finance and accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a finance management or senior finance role.
  • Mandatory prior experience working in an employment outsourcing, labour supply, workforce management, staffing, BPO, or HR outsourcing company.
  • Proven experience in client invoicing, accounts receivable, collections, cash flow management, and financial controls.
  • Experience managing client security deposits, financial provisions, and contract-level profitability.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, IFRS, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Experience preparing budgets, financial forecasts, management accounts, and profitability reports.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, financial control, and commercial decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work closely with operations, sales, and senior management.
  • Experience handling high-volume financial transactions and multiple corporate client accounts will be a significant advantage.
